"We adopted Bella at lockdown, and she settled in very well with us and our family.  She became ill after a year or so and was diagnosed with IBD after invasive surgery.  Diet recommended Purina Hypoallergenic with B12 supplements. This worked well for a while and after a flare up the vet added Oxycare antibiotics long term. Again, she settled however she went into flare up in October and this hasn’t been stabilised since. Our vet is now certain she has become intolerant to the drugs, and these are not working.  Previously nothing else worked and we are basically clinging to hope we can find a solution.

With all this Bella developed a limp from a strain.  She is such a characterful Rottie and watches TV.  Loves barking and chasing off a dog on any advert or animals on wildlife programs.  Whilst having a moment she strained her leg and we were introduced to Amanda from Canine Massage Therapy.  Amanda has been amazing and with her help Bella has not only been spoilt rotten, but she has responded well to treatment. Amanda asked if we would try the CaniNectar  and we have noticed an improvement with Bella’s Coat. She is gleaming and her fur from the surgery a while back never grew back but it has now.

Bella is now off all steroids and rather than see a further decline in her health and weight she has stabilised and her condition hasn’t worsened. This we are amazed by and the vet has recommended she come off the antibiotics soon as they do not appear to be working however we will slowly reduce these over months to ease any issues.

The aim is Bella will solely be on a HA diet and CaniNectar. If she stabilises, we will have her longer with us but if her weight declines then we know we will not have long. Her weight has gone from 25.6kg to 35.9kg, not a decrease and we are so pleased."
